Professor Kenneth Ashwell (B.Med.Sc., M.B. B.S., Ph.D. is Professor of Anatomy in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Ken has been teaching anatomy to medical, healthcare, exercise, and science students since 1984, and maintains an active involvement in research on brain development and brain evolution. He has written several books and acted as consultant editor for The Student's Anatomy of Exercise Manual and The Student's Anatomy of Stretching Manual, as well as the bestselling Anatomica.
